Nostalgia: [etymo."nostos kai alghia"]

The word is from the Greek nostos (the wish to return home) and -algia, from algos (means pain, as in "neuralgia" -nerve pain- and myalgia -muscle pain-. The wish to recover a lost familiriaty in the painful distance.
